Our media team works to raise awareness of bullying as a serious
issue for children and young people. We highlight excellent
anti-bullying practice across the country and promote stories about
children and young people who have overcome bullying in a positive
way. The team works across the range of print, broadcast and
online media.
ABA has over 60 member organisations. We offer a wealth of
expertise across all areas of anti-bullying work.
We can offer:
- media-trained spokespeople (adults and young people from Young
ABA) for broadcast and print interviews, as well as case studies of
young people who have overcome being bullied in a positive way
- statistics and research on bullying and anti-bullying work
Anti-Bullying Week 2009
Every November, ABA runs Anti-Bullying Week - a national
awareness-raising week in England. Our sixth Anti-Bullying
Week - which runs from 16th to 20th November - has a cyberbullying
theme and carries the slogan 'Stay Safe in Cyberspace'.
